


Sant’Elia Single Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Sant’Elia Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a superior quality olive oil, the highest classification, and is
made by the cold pressing of olives by mechanical means only. There is no heat or added
chemicals in the pressing process.
Our olive oil is Single Estate, meaning that it is made from the olives grown only on the Sant’
Elia estate in Le Marche, Italy. We have more than 600 olive trees and three varieties of
olives - Frantoio, Leccino and Pendolino. The olives are harvested by hand by the family and
friends in late October, a very labour-intensive process! The olives are then taken to the
village olive press where they are pressed within 24 hours of being harvested.
The olives are grown under natural conditions with no chemical fertilizers, pesticides or
other treatments being used. The resultant Extra Virgin Olive Oil is pure and contains no
additives or preservatives.
As well as cold pressing by mechanical means, an Extra Virgin Olive Oil has to have a free
acidity of below 0.8. Our 2024 harvest has a very low acidity of 0.14. In addition, other
analytical properties point to our 2024 harvest being of very high quality.
Ingredients
Sant’ Elia Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamics are made entirely from plant-based materials
and do not contain and animal or dairy products. Therefore, they are considered to be
vegetarian and vegan in nature.
Sant’ Elia Extra Virgin Olive Oil does not contain any of the 14 proscribed allergens as
defined by the UK Food Standards Agency.
