Staying Safe During Covid-19

During lockdown ‘Team Journey’ have been making the most of it and working on the changes to create a safe environment for you and the team to make the salon safe, sanitised and ready for us to return to the ‘new normal’.

Here’s what you can expect from us…

    Training

Everyone has been working hard being fully trained to have the necessary certificates to ensure that the relevant health and safety guidelines are meticulously followed.

    New Opening Times

We have extended the opening hours to make sure that we can see as many of our lovely clients as possible and also welcome any new ones that want to take advantage of the new skills that the team have been training for in lockdown. Extended days and hours will mean that we can see as many clients as possible every week.

To make sure that we keep everyone safe, initial sessions will be by appointment only and these will be timed to allow that we focus on the right time for your hair.

    Arriving at the Salon

It’s really important that you arrive on time for your allocated slot. Any late arrivals will sadly impact on your overall time. Please can we ask that you phone if you think that you will be late so that we can adjust your schedule. Please can we also ask that you limit the number of belongings that you bring. Whilst it is sunny maybe forget the coat as this will also save valuable hair time!

    Social Distancing

Due to the social distancing guidance please could you attend your appointment alone unless you are disabled or need to be accompanied by a carer. Sadly, no children are currently allowed in the salon unless they have an appointment.

    Health

A Hand sanitising station is located at the entrance for your use and we will be temperature screening everyone to keep us all safe.

All stations will be thoroughly cleaned between each appointment.

    P PE

You are welcome to wear your own face mask if you wish (although this is not compulsory).

The team will be wearing PPE protection – this may look a bit odd, but underneath the visors they will be able to fully see your hair and are super looking forward to seeing you back.

    Refreshments

Sadly, due to government guidelines, we will not be offering refreshments or magazines. However, please feel free to bring your own but you will have to take them home with you.
